The Hope For Honduran Children Foundation helps support the many projects of Sociedad Amigos De Los Niños. Headquartered in Tegucigalpa, The Society for the Friends of Children (SAN) is a non-profit humanitarian organization whose sole mission is the support of the most vulnerable of the Honduran population, neglected children. Founded in 1966 by Maria Rosa Leggol,The Society for The Friends of Children embraces the world of the orphaned, abandoned, and abused children of Honduras and strives to walk with them on a path of self -respect and self-reliance. SAN works tirelessly to provide food, clothing, shelter, medical services, education and psychological support for each child.
